As a tribute to the NBA Playoffs (and because it's a slow news day), The Win Column has compiled a list of the NBA's current top 25 all-around players. As one of a select few true NBA fans which remain...the below list disregards fantasy numbers, John Hollinger's rankings, a player's age, and/or a player's value when compared to his standing salary -- this list is all about whom are the best 25 players in the NBA today (in order)...

luol deng?????????? not yet no chance hes top 25, let alone above richard hamilton or dwight howard. ben gordon is better than deng is at this point although deng definetly has the most potential. id take shawn marion over deng at this point also...defense and rebounding along with 18 points a game is money for a team with steve nash and amare. other than that, i think this list is pretty accurate. well done chieftain. i think another oversight may also be zach randolph though. he is on a pitiful team and still dominates....hes legit
I didn't include Randolph or Artest (whom I sweat) b/c this list is based upon overall game (and with that, you must take into consideration one's character). As far as Marion, we agree to disagree - to me, he's vastly overrated (probably b/c of his fantasy game). It's Pheonix's style of play that makes him, not vice-versa.
This list is trash if it doesn't have Pierce in the top 5. go back under your bed
