A-Rod Only Hits Meaningless Home Runs

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

(I can't even begin to imagine where the Yanks would be without baseball's best all-around player)...

Rivera = Game Over. Bet on it! Leave now to beat the traffic...

You were looking at the wrong part of the Fenway scoreboard... should have been looking at the the one that has you fu*ks 12.5 games behind...

only a yankees fan would talk sh*t down 12.5 games i wish we could jump forward to september to see how many games out of the wild card they end up. the yanks were due for something like that to happen. the sox can only crush rivera so many times and a-rod will occasionally live up to his 26 million dollar contract

You're right, Mo Rivera has been "terrible" against the Red Sox for his career! I'm shocked the Yanks even dress him for these games.

After all, these are his "terrible" CAREER numbers vs. the Sox:

In 80 games (87.1 total innings)...10-6 record, 37 saves, 3.09 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 80 K's, 27 BB's

...It comes as no surprise that yet another Red Sox fan bashes a particular Yankee, but with NO stats to defend his/her point.

And, please spare me your ONLY comeback...that being, "look at Rivera's numbers vs. the Sox this year". THERE ARE 4 FULL MONTHS LEFT (the Yanks have played the worst baseball in the league, and are surely within striking distance of both the Wild Card & Division...it's actually embarrassing that they are only 7 back of the Wild Card).

i think your face is embarrassing

No, what's embarrassing, Chief Pole Smoker, is that you are educated in MA, from RI, and still defend the Yankees. The only stat that's really pertinent at this point is the one that shows you 12.5 back. Good luck in Chicago this week...

Chieftain said...

How does where someone is educated have ANYTHING to do with who I root for????? I'm baffled.

Not that I need to defend myself, but at least 25% of RI consists of Yankee fans (I'm sure you knew that already though).

Furthermore, I grew up a Yankee fan (again, from RI) my whole life...considering I have family from NY (I'm sure you knew that as well).

And, FYI...the Yanks were 14.5 games back to the Sox in 1978 -- only then it was July 18th (and now it's only June 4th). You're right though...A-Rod sucks, Rivera is washed up, and the season is over!!

Care to get smoked any more?

If i can chime in here. I too am from RI and consider myself more of a Rhode Islander than Chieftain, and can personally atest to the fact that there is NO WAY IN HELL that 25% of the state are NY fans. CT maybe, but not RI.

Chieftain said...

Actually, Norman it was researched in an SI study last year. Between 22-27% of Rhode Islanders are Yankee fans. Again, I'm stating F-A-C-T-S.

Have you ever been to Providence, Johnston, Cranston, or East Greenwich???

Norman P. Orlando said...

consequently those are the 4 worst areas of the state. don't get so bogged down with numbers, life's too short. Sometimes you have to go with instincts....of which you have none

Smoked any more? I'll throw this statistic out at you... you're a 100% tool and yoor posts kill this website. That stat was authenticated by the esteemed accounting firm of Deloitte and Touche A-Rod's piece...

Sorry for feel that way.

First off, I'm the founder of this site.

Secondly, I've made approximately 60% of the posts on this blog. Without my contribution, there wouldn't be much to read.

...And furthermore, since Yankee fans are just so knowledgeable about the game and all; why do Yankee fans incessantly boo and ride ARod out of the city? Only now you are all on his jock because he happened to reach out at a Papelbon 0-2 pitch and make something happen... I hate ARod, but Yankee fans really don't appreciate this guy's talent; so quit saying how awesome he is only after he finally does something to help the Yanks beat the Sox.

Thirdly... we need more Suds and less Chieftain...

It's VERY well documented that I sweat A-Rod, and have done so ever since becoming a Yankee. I was completely against him EVER getting boo'd. As a diehard, it was embarrassing to watch the "fan's" reaction to A-Rod last year.

I'm also on record saying that the passion of Red Sox fans generally trumps that of Yankee fans (I'm also on record stating that I think the Red Sox will win the division this year...but, if the Yanks make the playoffs, then they will be EXTREMELY dangerous). If you took your blinders off for just one minute, you'd realize that I'm the most objective fan on the east coast.

I wonder what percent of people living in the ghetto rock a sick Yankees hat. Probably in a color like brown or orange.

Ask Tom Brady.

But, "Carolina Red Sox" would say...Brady is from CA, was "educated" (a joke of an argument) in Michigan, and is employed in MA. What gives?

At least Brady rocked the original colors... I love this website, and you're a good sport Chieftain! I'm glad Lytedogg sent me this site, honestly, you guys all do a great job! Keep it up!
