Breaking News: Rodney Harrison Suspended 4 Games For HGH

The NFL has suspended New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison 4 games for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

Earlier today, Harrison admitted to both federal investigators and Roger Goodell that he had been using Human Growth Hormone.

Initial speculation indicates that Harrison has been a continuous user of HGH for at least 2+ years. More to come...

A vast majority of them use! They HAVE to. Think about high school. Lets say you were a good athlete, you wouldn't use the "clear" or hgh to make yourself that much better to get DI offers and possible get a shot in the pros?

You're awfully defensive, wouldn't you say? What for? All I did was objectively outline the story. I've defended Bonds for years now - because I don't think what he did is any different then what most others do. In all actuality, Rodney Harrison was one of my favorite active athletes.

And as far as me using steroids? Would never happen! Did I ever consider it...and was it continuously thrown in my face? Absolutely. But in the end, I choose my health.

All that being said, claiming that "they HAVE to" take steroids is probably the most ignorant statement I've read since starting this blog.

Some doctors have been concerned about giving HGH to diabetics. Previous studies, including Dr. Rudman's study using large doses of HGH, showed that HGH had caused increased insulin resistance in patients, so diabetics saw an increase in blood glucose levels.
