Norman P's Picks

So I'll be the first to admit that I'm a casual sports fan. I don't stay up late pouring over numbers and potential match-ups, not because I don't like it... just because its not my thing, I'd rather watch porn. I hardly ever bet because I have absolutely zero confidence in my prowess. For many readers of this site I know the beginning of football season means the beginning of betting season....and from what I can understand many of you guys do quite well for yourself, and for that I applaud you. For me, the beginning of the NFL season means logging in a solid 8-9 hours of couch time while absolutely putting on a clinic when it comes to snacking and burying beers on a Sunday.

So that said I'm posting my picks for the week. Take it for what its worth. I hope all you negative nancies out there (which evidently thats all that read this site nowadays) crap all over them. So good luck to all you gamblers out there this weekend. I hope you bet the farm and lose everything. My picks are in bold...

Ladies and Gentleman.. I give you the NFL.. no spread over 6.5.. somewhere Pete Rosell is smiling..

Going to be a tough cover for the Pats given the holes in the D that came out this week.. and they play generally tight games anyway..

Saint's straight up tonight... if for nothing more to screw over PM on his "big day"
